Chauncey is the perfect place to gather with friends for a meal. Guests can enjoy casual elegance in the Solomon Dining Room as well as the relaxed atmosphere of the Cbar Lounge. Festive special events are our specialty, from outdoor barbecues to elegant receptions. The Solomon Room, Chauncey's main dining room, has floor to ceiling windows that look onto tranquil views of the lake, lawn and gardens. The Cbar features casual fare and beverage service in a lively bistro atmosphere overlooking the lake and grounds and has indoor and outdoor (seasonal) seating. Shelley’s Table offers Private & Team Building Cooking Classes.

Shelley Wiseman, cookbook author and former Gourmet Magazine Travel Food Editor, organizes private & corporate cooking classes to promote bonding, creativity, and collaboration. Both as Shelley’s Table, and formerly as The Farm Cooking School, Shelley has been conducting hands-on cooking classes for private and corporate clients for the last 10 years. While Shelley specializes in French and Mexican cooking, she has a variety of sample menus and is happy to work with dietary restrictions and specific requests. Feel free to discuss your desired menu with Shelley. The class is 2 hours long followed by a sit-down dinner for about 1 ½ hours, BYOB.
