Cook for the Health of It is a new culinary television series created by David Kelly Crow and Sharyn Alice Murray. The host is Dorothy Mullen, founder of the Suppers Programs (
www.thesuppersprograms.org). The first three episodes feature recipes that help to relieve symptoms of specific medical conditions. In the first episode, vegan split pea and kale soup was made as an example of the kind of food that sent the guest's rheumatoid arthritis into remission. In reference to the show, Dorothy explains, "Our program is about the health transformations that people experience through the simple acts of preparing and eating delicious whole foods." Each episode is filmed in the Terra Learning Kitchen at the Princeton YMCA/YWCA, which is operated by the Terra Momo Restaurant Group. The premier is scheduled for 5pm on Sunday, January 25, 2015 exclusively on the Princeton Community TV channel and website. Each episode will be aired for a month on Sundays at 5pm and Thursdays at 11:30am. It can be watched on Princeton Comcast Channel 30, Verizon FiOS Channel 45, or a livestream from the Princeton TV website. Contact Sharyn Alice Murray at (609)-271-6843 or
