2011 - The Year of 2009!

You've heard me talk briefly about the great 2009 vintage in France. It's only the beginning. Slowly, as the year progresses, more and more of the wines from 2009 will be released, and I will be sure to let the Corkscrew newsletter subscribers in on the secret first -- stay tuned!

The 2009 Mas Arnaud Côtes du Rhône is the wine everyone wants in their house for everyday drinking and to have on hand for those unexpected house-guests. It's a crowd pleaser!

The 55%/45% Syrah-Grenache blend is a smooth, medium-bodied table wine from the majestic Rhône Valley. Farmed naturally without the use of chemicals, this humble estate produces wines for the everyday wine drinker. Dark blackberries, raspberries and ripe olive greet your nose, with juicy dark fruits, smooth tannins and a food-friendly finish in the mouth.
