Creative Collective and ArtSpace Help Kick Off “NJ Wine Trail Weekend” with Terhune Orchards Exhibit

Works created by the artists of the Creative Collective and ArtSpace will be on exhibit at Terhune Orchard Winery for the WineTrail Art and Wine weekend March 22^nd and 23^rd(www.terhuneorchards.com/wine_events.html/),  and will remain on display until mid-April. Rotating art shows will continue at the Orchard on a monthly basis through the summer.

The Creative Collective (https://www.creativecollective4art.com/) is a group of local artists who have come together using the social networking site, Meetup, to form a vibrant community. With close to 200 members, Creative Collective is dedicated to fostering a cooperative and nurturing community for artists, artisans and art lovers in Mercer County and surrounding New Jersey. Their goals are to facilitate display and teaching opportunities and to create a friendly, supportive atmosphere for art critique and inspiration.

The art created by this talented group spans the spectrum from abstract to classic in all types of media, including photography, watercolor, oil, acrylic, stone carving and collage.

ArtSpace (https://www.artspacenj.org/) uses art as a tool to improve the physical, mental and emotional well being of our clients. By encouraging creativity and self-expression in a safe and nurturing environment, our goal is to rebuild the souls of individuals suffering from poverty, homelessness and family abuse. In the environment provided by ArtSpace’s innovative therapeutic art program and with the non-threatening, non-judgmental encouragement of ArtSpace Team, clients are able to look inside themselves and by artistic expression begin the process of restoring their defeated inner spirit.

ArtSpace is a HomeFront program housed in HomeFront's Family Preservation Center, a shelter for homeless women and children. HomeFront provides a holistic array of services for families who are homeless or at high risk of becoming so.
