11th Annual Food & Wine Fundraiser Nov. 5 at Mary Jacobs Memorial Library
October 27, 2016
The Mary Jacobs Memorial Library Foundation will host its 11th annual food and wine fundraising event at the Mary Jacobs Memorial Library, 64 Washington Street, Rocky Hill, on Saturday, November 5, from 7 pm to 10 pm.
This year, the evening will feature a menu highlighting cuisine
richly inspired by Italy, all thoughtfully paired with Italian wines. Live music by Acoustic Road, Jeff Friedman & Matt Robinson, a Silent Auction, and a Wine Pull. Sponsorships are still available and include two tickets to the event.
"This annual Food and Wine event is enormously popular with more than 200 Rocky Hill and Montgomery residents attending," said Brenda Fallon, Mary Jacobs Memorial Library Foundation Board of Trustees President. "Last year, thanks to the incredible committee, sponsors, auction items and attendees, the event raised almost $60,000. This year we hope to raise even more to help fund the many needed capital improvements to keep this wonderful library safe and up-to-date for this well educated, lively community. I know our residents love MJL and will continue to show their support their library. Who can pass up delicious Italian food and wine, shared with a like-minded crowd, to benefit your local library?"
