Easter Bunny Brunch, Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn
Join us at Lambertville Station for a heartwarming Bunny Brunch on Sunday, April 6th, from 11 AM to 2 PM! We're creating a magical experience for the whole family, complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny and amazing balloon art by Ben's Balloons. Our Riverside Ballroom will be filled with the aroma of a delicious buffet featuring everything from lobster bisque and a deviled egg bar to carved ham, prime rib, and turkey. Kids will love our special menu, and everyone will adore the chocolate fountain and ice cream bar. Every child will also receive a special Easter basket! Chocolate in the 18th Century, Rockingham Historic Site
Susan Plaisted of Heart to Hearth Cookery presents a program on chocolate in the 18th century. Cacao beans will be processed using period methods and turned into "cakes" and hot chocolate. HCHS Wine-Tasting Fundraiser
The Hunterdon County Historical Society is teaming up with The Cree Wine Company at the Perryville Inn for a wine-tasting fundraiser on Sunday, April 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. The event will include hot hors d’oeuvres and an exceptional selection of wines chosen by Chris Cree, who is New Jersey’s only Master of Wine and one of just 57 in the nation. Guests will sample fine wines while learning about the inn’s unique history, and how it was saved from destruction in the 1950s. Built in 1813, the Perryville Inn was a favorite stopping place for stagecoaches on the old Easton-to-Brunswick turnpike. Cost for the event is $125 per person, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit HCHS. Reserve spots at www.hunterdonhistory.org.
