Foraging & Feasting, Cherry Grove Farm
Learn about the wild plants that grow all around us and sample some delicious foods made with these herbs, roots, fruits, and mushrooms. We'll begin by taking a walk around Cherry Grove Farm as we identify, smell and taste some fresh edible weeds and, if we're lucky, some mushrooms. Herbalist Tish will discuss some of the medicinal and nutritional virtues of each plant. Chef Lana will have prepared some delectable dishes made with wild plants. After the walk, Tish will explain how to make vinegars with the wild plants as you enjoy a foraged meal.
