Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers’ Market
Hunterdon Land Trust opens a new Farmers’ Market season Sunday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St. in Flemington. The producers’-only market will run every Sunday through Nov. 19. Shoppers will find organic fruits and vegetables, all-natural meats, fresh-baked breads, cave-ripened cheeses, pies, plants, flowers, wine and more. Most farmers accept credit cards. Parking is free and easily accessible.

Mother’s Day Kids Cooking Class, Shelley's Table
Quality time + delicious food + learning while laughing: What could feel more celebratory than that combination? In this Mother’s Day class we will learn how to make pastry dough, and sweet and savory fillings. Each child will take home a 5-inch Vegetable Quiche with Broccoli or mushrooms, cheese, and an egg and cream custard, and a 5-inch Blueberry Lattice Pie. Wagon House Tea Party at the Dvoor Farm
Treat Mom, friends and loved ones to a delightful afternoon of tea and light finger foods at the Dvoor Farm on Sunday, May 14 at 2 p.m. Guests will get to keep their tea cup and saucer as a lovely memento of the day, and perhaps take home a fabulous prize. The tea will be hosted in the farm’s wagon house, which offers charming views of the Walnut Brook and woods.
