Fourth Annual Empty Bowls Event, The Hightstown Cultural Arts Commission

The Hightstown Cultural Arts Commission will host its fourth annual Empty Bowls on March 23 from 5-8 pm at the Peddie School Cafeteria (Campus Center) in Hightstown. Empty Bowls is an international program that engages participating artists to create and donate handmade bowls in which a simple meal is served to a gathering of caring community members.

Local ceramic artist and Cultural Arts Commission Vice Chair Adam Welch created a limited edition of 300 hand thrown stoneware soup bowls for the event along with 100 additional bowls made by Hightstown High School students. Ticket buyers will select a bowl to fill with a hot meal from Hightstown eateries. Food sponsors include 12 Farms, 4 Seasons Café & Deli, Americana Kitchen & Bar, Fernando’s Grille, Mannino’s 4, Morgan’s Island Grill, Pompier Catering, and Tavern on the Lake. (as of 2/09) - Tickets are 435 - Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Food Pantry at Rise


Team Princeton Police Unity Tour Fundraiser, Alchemist and Barrister

The Princeton PBA Local #130, Team Princeton Police Unity Tour fundraiser will be held this Saturday, March 23rd, from 5pm to 12 midnight at the The Alchemist and Barrister located at 28 Witherspoon St. Princeton. You can support Tem Princeton by purchasing merchandise for sale to include shirts and pint glasses and also by entering our raffle for some exciting giveaways! Prizes include a $100 gift card to Olives, $50 gift card to Triumph, 2 tickets to NY Rangers/ Philadelphia Flyers game, craft beer basket, and a custom thin blue line license plate. Tapas, Drinks & Music, A Benefit for Cherry Valley Cooperative

Tapas, Drinks & Music is a fundraiser to support the construction of a community center at Cherry Valley Cooperative. The Community Center & Farm Market will help us to better serve you by providing an indoor space for cooking demos, workshops, film screenings, farm to table dinners, and a market full of Cherry Valley Co-op farm fresh food & other local, artisanal products.

MUSIC: Inspired cellist & composer, Dan Kassel, will set the mood for the evening.

SILENT AUCTION: Choose from an array of local items from your favorite Princeton area businesses!

The event will be held on Canal Rd in Griggstown, NJ. (Address will be made available after registration is received).
