PDS Art Gallery Reception for Nick Beatty and Eva Mantell, Princeton Day School, Princeton. Princeton Day School is Proud to present Distraction, featuring the work of Nick Beatty and Eva Mantell '81 from October 22 through November 16. This exhibition showcases the innovative and provocative work of two dynamic artists exploring society's evolving intersections and collisions with technology. The Anne Reid '72 Art Gallery is open9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday when PDS is open. The gallery and the receptions are free and open to the public.

'A Raisin in the Sun', Kelsey Theatre, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor. This searing drama tells the story of the Youngers, a black working class family struggling to achieve the American Dream in the face of racial tensions and economic disenfranchisement in 1950s Chicago. When an unexpected financial windfall gives them the opportunity for a better life, conflicts both within and outside the family and pressures from without threaten to tear it apart. All hopes hinge on their next move. Lorraine Hansberry’s drama, the first Broadway play by an African-American woman, changed the face of American theater, and relevant six decades after its debut. Beethoven Piano Concertos, Princeton Symphony Orchestra, Richardson Auditorium, Alexander Hall, Princeton University. The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) welcomes pianist Inon Barnaton and conductor Marcelo Lehninger to Princeton for collaboration on a two-day cycle of all five piano concertos completed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Concertos Nos. 1, 2, and 4 make up the Saturday program.
