We are Hopewell. Hear us ROAR!

We are Hopewell. Hear us roar!

Looks like it is going to be a Hopewell kind of weekend! A year ago the town rallied together to raise money, raise timber, and raise two new Hopewell playgrounds in the mud, rain and dead of night. Much like the postal service.

Now the sun is shining, skies are blue, tiles are up and the grass around the gazebo is in and green. So come celebrate this Friday, see the slide show, hear Kyle, Ned, Brett and Steve belt out some tunes as BOXOROX  takes center stage, and let your kids explore the pirate ship playground until the fire flies come out. But the real Scoop? A certain someone will have his new hot dog stand on hand serving up the crowd.

In the morning, burn off those dogs and start your day with the Hopewell Valley Trail run, the first event of a day celebrating the 340 acres St. Michael's property preservation--  and preservation of our view.

And to finish off your weekend, Sunday afternoon sit and listen to Jean Hanff Korelitz read from her latest book 'Admissions', a fictional work on the Princeton University admissions process hosted by Friends of Hopewell Library at the Princeton Elks Club.

Way to go Hopewell. Well done!

See you there.
