Seasons come and seasons go. Mere weeks ago it seems, we were digging out from feet of snow and then falling trees. And now a summer heat is hitting Princeton in April as if it is August! For some reason these fast changing weather patterns made me think of fads. Like Silly Bands.

Silly Bands are everywhere! Brightly colored elastic bands in the shapes of flamingoes and cars and microphones (yup, we scored a microphone) gracing wrists and arms of children all over town.  To say nothing of the number of them left in cars, counters, bags and back packs. This craze is crazy!

Then along came Hadley.  Take a look at her Silly Bands. They are all neatly fed onto a big key ring! God bless Hadley and God bless her friend Katie who devised this wonderful way to keep silly bands in one spot… and my Volvo clean.

One can only wonder what the next fad will be.
