Puff The Magic Dragon

My guess is that you were singing ‘lives by the sea’ in your head as you read the title of this Scoop. Some songs simply transcend the ages and are passed from generation to generation. Luckily for us the Princeton Public Library is celebrating its 100^th birthday with a family concert by Peter Yarrow, the legendary singer, songwriter and children’s author who wrote Puff the Magic Dragon among many others.

Come to the concert, celebrate the library and let your children hear the original version of this classic. But before you do, stop by jaZams and pick up one of his children’s books to be autographed after the show. 20% of the price will be donated to PPL and you’ll walk away with a keeper for your family library.

While it would be lovely to live by the sea, our town works just fine for me.
