Full Heart! Yay! Empty Wallet. Boo.

No dairy? No wheat? No caffeine? No sugar? No alcohol? -- whatever new regime you’re on to kick off the New Year there is one that everyone can relate to – No cash! With the sparkling, fabulous, month of giving behind us the tendency is to grind life to a halt to help even out the bank account. But it’s a New Year; A time to do, to live, to experience, and achieve! No?  Here are some ideas for you that you can do for free this month (or for very little indeed.)

Princeton Yoga 2011 Yoga Challenge! If you take 40 classes within 60 days starting any day through March 31^st, you’ll receive a month of unlimited yoga free! You must register for this offer in person. PCYH, 50 Vreeland Drive, Suite 506 Skillman.

  Princeton Men’s Hockey vs Cornell, Friday Jan 7^th 7pm. Tickets $10. And the Princeton Youth Hockey Mites are skating between periods -- always fun to watch. Please don’t wear red.

 Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park ‘After Holidays Walk Off’ 5 miler, Saturday Jan 8^th 1pm. Free! Register www.dandrcanal.com

 Princeton Art Museum Family Movie Night, Friday Jan 14^th 6pm-9pm. An evening of adventure and mystery complete with sandwiches, cookies, a museum adventure and viewing of the movie ‘The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiller’, the 1995 movie with Lauren Bacall. Free!

 This promises to be a tremendous year in this town of ours. Get out there and be part of it. And Happy New Year!
