10 Years!

When you live in a town long enough it seems as though some of our annual events have simply 'always been'. Growing up, it was the Princeton Hospital Fete complete with dunking booth and strawberry shortcake patch. And of course the Bastille Day Ball, Princeton Reunions, and oh so many other moments in town that became traditions not to be missed. It is terrific though to see how in the last ten years new events have taken hold and grown. It’s hard to believe The Arts Council of Princeton's fall fundraiser, Dining by Design is celebrating its 10^th Year on November 5^th! Wow!

The gala reception prior to dinners at private homes features a silent auction offering 14 incredibly creative “Dream Dinners.” Who can pass up a retreat day with friends at the Gray's family shore residence in Bay Head, complete with a coastal yoga class, an intimate champagne spa dinner prepared by health guru Meredith Asplundh, with table and décor designed by Judy King? If you can't make the event, you can always bid on the Dream Dinners on line once the auction goes live next week.

Only 40 tickets left at last count. Could be 20 by now! Better call quick. If the tickets are gone, never fear -- ask for a cocktails only ticket.
