Five Places to Enjoy a Burger in Princeton Diesel and Duke also has a menu for your pup.

With the unofficial start of summer here, we’ve decided to round up the top 5 spots to grab a burger in the Princeton area.

Diesel and Duke

124 Nassau Avenue

Diesel and Duke’s burgers are fresh and their fries are hand-washed and freshly cut. Burger choices include The Standard with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, aioli & ketchup; Holypeno with bacon, aged cheddar, jalapeno, caramelized onion and spicy mayo; Breakfast with bacon, aged cheddar, fried egg, ailoi and ketchup — to name a few. There are 5 locations throughout the state, with a local spot on Nassau Avenue. The burger joint also has items like a “Duke Patty” for your dog, fries and fried oreos.


Brick House Tavern & Tap

Brick House’s burgers come complete with fries or tots and you can decide to add patties on your burger — two or even three! Burger options includes ones like House Burger with choice of cheddar, Swiss, smoked provolone or American cheese, along with lettuce, tomato, red onion & pickles; Farmhouse Burger that is topped with a fried egg & signature mustard sauce; Black & Bleu that includes cajun spice, melted bleu cheese & caramelized onion or BBQ Bacon Burger with BBQ, smoky bacon & cheddar cheese.

 

Mistral

Get Mistral “To Go” with pickup and savor their Dry Aged Brisket Burger with bacon jam and garlic aioli. You can add aged cheddar on top, as well as fries.

 

Witherspoon Grill

The Witherspoon Burger is a highlight on the lunch menu offering a 10oz. Angus Burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, fries & a pickle. There’s also choices to top your burger like American, cheddar, blue cheese, provolone, two-hour onions, sautéed mushrooms, bacon, pork roll or fried egg. They also have a turkey or vegetarian burger option available.

 

Yankee Doodle Tap Room

Yankee Doodle Tap Room lists an array of burgers that come with gluten-free sweet potato fries & rolls upon request. Burgers include The Nassau (a blend of ground brisket, short rib and chuck along with a choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion sits on a toasted brioche roll) and Wagyu (8oz American wagyu beef, black truffle spread, wild mushrooms, onion jam, smoked Gouda, argil and tomato. The menu is now available to enjoy at home with Doordash.
