Second Annual Restaurant Week Runs September 19 – 25
 
New Jersey residents don’t have to trek to New York City to enjoy the benefits of Restaurant Week!  This fall, the New Jersey Restaurant Association is proud to bring back the second annual New Jersey Restaurant Week www.dineoutnj.com, created to celebrate excellent New Jersey eateries and highlight the bounty of produce and ingredients coming from the state. Running September 19th – 25th, many of New Jersey’s finest restaurants are offering promotional discounts and specials, encouraging diners to get out and take advantage of some delicious deals!
 
At Simon Prime (Atlantic City Hilton Hotel, Boston Ave & The Boardwalk, Atlantic City, 609.340.7453, www.hiltonac.com/dining/simon-prime-steaks-martinis.shtml), enjoy contemporary American cuisine from culinary star, Chef Kerry Simon. When you visit Simon Prime during Restaurant Week, get 20% off your check at dinner (tax, alcoholic beverages and gratuity excluded). Nicknamed the “Rock & Roll Chef” by Rolling Stone Magazine, Simon takes advantage of the abundance of products from local New Jersey farmers when preparing his seasonal menu which featuressteaks, fish, seafood, chops, and organic vegetables. Must-try items include the Boardwalk Crab Cakes ($21), Meatloaf ($29), and for dessert, the classic Boardwalk treat, Cotton Candy ($9).  Simon Prime is open Thursday and Friday 6 pm – 10 pm and Saturday and Sunday 6 pm – 11 pm.

If a trip to Northern Italy isn’t in your plans this fall, you can still enjoy authentic Italian fare by visiting Radicchio (32 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood, 201.670.7311, https://www.radicchiorestnj.com).  The menu boasts homemade Italian dishes in a classic European environment, right in the heart of Ridgewood.  During Restaurant Week, Radicchio will be offering its diners a complimentary dessert and coffee with the purchase of a dinner entrée.  Entrée favorites include Capellini Seafood ($28.50), Rack of Lamb ($31), and Shrimp Risotto ($27) with delectable desserts including Tiramisu, Cannoli, and Crème Brulee among a wide selection of Ice Creams and Sorbets.  Radicchio is open Monday -Thursday from 12 pm – 10 pm, Friday from 12 pm – 11 pm, Saturday from 5 pm – 11 pm and Sunday from 5 pm – 9 pm.
