David Crane is the CEO of Princeton-based NRG Energy, a Fortune 300 electric power generation company. Crane is a leading voice on the need for climate change legislation and the power industry’s role in reducing greenhouse gases by utilizing new, clean technologies to meet growing energy needs. As part of Crane’s commitment to low and no carbon generation, NRG is the leading finalist for a government loan guarantee to build new, zero-emission nuclear power.
