The New Jersey Department of Health announced that as of Aug. 24 there are 8,267 Mercer County residents who have tested positive for COVID-19. Mercer County continues to recommend basic steps for residents. When out in public, practice social distancing and wear a mask over your mouth and nose. Wash your hands. Cough and sneeze into your elbow or a tissue. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
